Job Title: Healthcare Assistant / Support Worker – Care Homes (Dorset Area)
Location: Dorset (including Bournemouth, Poole, Weymouth, Dorchester, and surrounding areas)
Pay Rate: £13.68 - £16.81
Contract Type: Temporary / Ongoing / Ad Hoc Shifts
Description:
We are currently recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants and Support Workers to work across a variety of residential and nursing care homes in Dorset.
This is a great opportunity for caring, dedicated individuals looking for flexible work with a supportive agency and consistent shifts.
Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality personal care and support to elderly residents
* Assist with daily living activities, including washing, dressing, and mealtime support
* Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing at all times
* Support residents with mobility and emotional needs
* Maintain accurate care records and communicate effectively with the team
Requirements:
* Minimum 6 months’ recent experience in a care home or similar healthcare environment
* Up-to-date mandatory training (or willingness to complete)
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach to care
