As a Healthcare Assistant you will:

  * Provide personal care and support

  * Administer medication

  * Epilepsy manangement

  * Monitor and record observations

  * Support clients with complex care needs

  * Deliver person-centred care with dignity and respect

Requirements

  * Minimum 1 year UK care experience

  * Care Certificate or NVQ in Health & Social Care

  * Full UK driving licence

  * Safeguarding Level 2 or 3

  * Manual Handling & Basic Life Support training

  * DBS on the Update Service

Day shifts:8am-8pm Monday to Sunday

Night shifts:8pm-8am Monday to Sunday

About the client

The client is a lovely 25-year-old lady who enjoys a variety of activities, including sewing, arts and crafts, cooking, baking, and watching films. She enjoys being actively involved in activities and benefits from having someone who takes the time to understand her interests, preferences, and individual needs.

The right staff

We are looking for staff who are kind, patient, reliable, and enthusiastic, with a genuine interest in supporting the client as an individual. Staff should be creative and engaging, with an interest in activities such as cooking, baking, crafts, sewing, or films. A positive and person-centred approach is essential, with staff able to provide encouragement and appropriate support without taking away the client's independence. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is warm, approachable, patient, and genuinely committed to helping the client enjoy her daily life, develop her confidence, and maintain as much independence as possible.
