Healthcare Assistant (HCA) – GP Surgery Support in Sheffield
Position: Healthcare Assistant (HCA)
Contract: Locum - working 8-12 weeks
Location: Sheffield
Hours: Up to 24 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Pay: £15 LTD per hour (£13.70 PAYE Inclu)
Are you a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant looking to make a difference in a busy GP surgery? We are seeking a reliable HCA to support our healthcare team in providing high-quality patient care.
Experience working within a GP Surgery is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting GPs and nurses with patient examinations and procedures
Taking patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, etc.)
Administering vaccinations and injections under supervision
Supporting with administrative tasks such as patient documentation
Ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for patients
Providing compassionate support to patients during their visitsIdeal Candidate:
Previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant or in a similar role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible and reliable, with a positive attitude
