Role Overview

We are currently recruiting experienced Healthcare Assistants (HCAs) to join our agency team. You will be supporting elderly residents, including those living with dementia, across a range of nursing and residential care settings in Southampton and Fareham.

This is a flexible, zero-hours role offering full-time hours for those available.

Key Responsibilities

  * Deliver high-quality personal care to residents

  * Support individuals with daily living activities (washing, dressing, toileting, feeding)

  * Provide compassionate care for elderly residents, including those with dementia

  * Assist with mobility and safe handling

  * Maintain accurate records and follow care plans

  * Work collaboratively with care home staff and other healthcare professionals

  * Promote dignity, respect, and independence at all times

Requirements

  * Minimum 6 months’ experience working in a care setting

  * Experience supporting elderly individuals and/or dementia care

  * Enhanced DBS (Disclosure) on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

  * Up-to-date mandatory training certificates

  * Ability to provide 2 professional references

  * Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  * Reliable, professional, and compassionate approach

  * This role is for full-time availability only – applicants must be able to work regular, consistent hours
