CVBHealthcare is looking for a passionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant/Support worker to join our team on a full-time/part time basis at our locations in and around Bath, Bristol and 30 miles radius of this location.
As a Healthcare Assistant/Support worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting patients with their daily activities, providing emotional support, and ensuring their well-being. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care and support to those in need.
Healthcare assistant/support worker Key responsibilities:
* Assisting patients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
* Supporting patients with mobility issues and helping them move around safely
* Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any changes to the healthcare team
* Providing emotional support and companionship to patients
* Assisting with meal preparation and feeding, if necessary
* Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients
Healthcare assistant/support worker Requirements:
* Minimum 1year previous experience in a healthcare setting is a must
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate and empathetic nature
* Ability to work well in a team environment
* Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
* Basic understanding of medical terminology is a plus
