Job Description
Gas Engineer – Domestic Heating & Hot Water Systems
Our client is seeking an experienced Gas Engineer to join their busy team, carrying out servicing and repairs on domestic heating and hot water systems for customers.
Role Overview
The primary responsibility of the Heating Engineer is to maintain and repair heating systems in clients' properties. You’ll ensure systems operate efficiently and safely, and that repairs are completed promptly to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out servicing and maintenance on a variety of domestic properties across the region
* Deliver excellent customer care when interacting with clients and tenants, ensuring quality standards are met
* Communicate progress and updates, completing all required documentation both electronically and manually
* Adhere to Health and Safety legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records
* Follow stock ordering and auditing procedures to ensure necessary parts are available for job completion
Key Attributes & Requirements
* Essential gas qualifications: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (minimum)
* Willingness to participate in Out of Hours evening and weekend cover on a rota basis
* Friendly and professional attitude, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and tenants
* Successful completion of criminal and reference checks prior to employment
