Job Description

We are looking for a Heating Engineer who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

As the Heating Engineer, you will provide the delivery of both planned and reactive FM maintenance services.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for a Heating Engineer to join this highly successful and forward-thinking organisation.

The Heating Engineer, will be responsible for:

  * Interpret and make judgements across a wide range of issues, understanding the complexity of pre‑planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, unplanned events and emergencies while working in a controlled manner.

  * Diagnose and repair faults in engineering, electrical and/or plumbing installations, plant and equipment, adapting to new situations as they arise and sharing knowledge with others..

  * Delivering high standards of workmanship across complex systems and understanding the relationship between mechanical and electrical systems.

  * Actively monitor the CAFM system to ensure all tasks are assigned within appropriate timescales and issues are resolved proactively.

  * Observe statutory requirements including health and safety, Electricity at Work Regulations, asbestos, legionella and COSHH regulations.

To be successful for this Heating Engineer role you must have:

  * Experience diagnosing and repairing faults across engineering, electrical and/or plumbing systems.

  * NVQ level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or equivariant
    IOSH Working safely

  * Completion of a structured training programme in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering for a minimum of 3 years.
