Job Description

As part of our continuous growth we are now looking for a Heavy Plant Engineer to be based at our High Legh depot.

We are on the lookout for talented, ambitious individuals to join our dynamic business. This is a great opportunity for Heavy machinery Engineers, Plant Mechanics, and Technicians who are qualified to level 3 or equivalent and live in the Chester or North Wales area.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  * Good knowledge and understanding of mechanics, electrics and hydraulics

  * Diagnosing faults and repairing / maintenance of company equipment on and off site

  * Completion of all test certificates and associated paperwork

  * Major component overhaul skills (Engine, Gearbox, Braking systems)

  * Specialist skills (Pneumatic Welding, Hydraulics, Electrical systems

  * Possess personal basic engineering tool kit (Spanners, sockets, screwdrivers etc.).

  * Hold and NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance, Agriculture or HGV

Contract Type : Full Time

Qualifications & Requirements

  * Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.

  * Must have a flexible approach

  * Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  * Electrical experience

  * Welder / Fabricator

  * Good Communicator

  * Follow both written and verbal instruction

  * Full driving licence
