Heavy Plant Mechanic / Mobile Plant Fitter - Mobile Role - Hertfordshire - Up to £55,000 DOE
I'm recruiting on behalf of a leading civil engineering company for an experienced Heavy Plant Mechanic / Plant Fitter to join their mobile team across Hertfordshire. This is a hands-on, highly rewarded role working on a wide range of heavy plant machinery - if you have the experience, you don't want to miss this.

Mobile role with a company van provided for work use - no depot waiting around
Mon-Fri, 45 hours with paid overtime at time and a half for anything over 8 hours
Occasional weekends and overnight stays, fully compensated
Competitive salary up to £55,000 DOE
You must have:
Proven experience as a Plant Fitter / Heavy Plant Mechanic
Experience working on heavy plant machinery including:
Digger / Excavator
Dumpers / Dump Trucks
Cranes & Piling Rigs
Loaders & Rollers
Other civil engineering plant equipment
NVQ or equivalent in plant mechanics or a related discipline
Full driving license (for van use)
What you'll do:
Service, maintain, and repair heavy plant machinery on-site (cranes & piling rigs)
Troubleshoot mechanical faults across a range of equipment
