Job Description
Our client is a well-established business that supplies, maintains and services diesel generators. Due to historical repeat business and new business, they require an engineer to join their team and provide the mechanical expertise on their client’s site. Some sites are high profile and security clearance will be required to have access to such sites.
The right diesel engineer that will join their team will ideally have experience with , engine rebuilds, injector removal replacement, core plugs replacement, basic electrical knowledge would also be beneficial. Their clients are used to engineers working to a high standard and under their own initiative. Overtime will be available. The sites are national and it would be ideal if the engineer is within 1 hour of Pontefract and have good knowledge of diesel engines and strip down.
A clean driving licence is required no criminal record as well in order to pass security clearance.
This role is Monday to Friday and there will be a rota to cover on call which will be discussed at interviewBefore You Apply
