Helpdesk Administrator – Permanent Role, Immediate Start

Are you highly organised, customer-focused, and ready to take the next step in your career? I am looking for a confident Helpdesk Administrator to join my amazing clients busy Maintenance and Small Works team based right in the heart of Cambridge.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administration skills and a “can-do” attitude to become an integral part of a friendly, supportive team—where no two days are the same!
What you’ll be doing:
Coordinating and administrating maintenance and small works projects to meet contract requirements.
Scheduling and managing direct workforce and sub-contractors, ensuring works are delivered on time.
Producing client reports and updating internal systems to keep everything on track.
Answering incoming calls, logging details, and assigning works to engineers or contractors.
Preparing job packs, quotes, and valuations for clients.
Managing jobs from start to finish—creation through to invoicing.
General office administration, including data entry, reporting, and filing.
✅ What we’re looking for:
Previous experience in a customer service or administration role.
Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel & Word essential).
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
A positive, proactive team player who enjoys problem solving.
Literate, numerate, and detail-oriented.
