Job Description

HEOR medical writer - anywhere in EUROPE and UK. Must be resident within this geographic area.

Full time, remote, permanent.

Our client, a global mid-size CRO, who has a dedicated Medical Writing unit, is looking for a HEOR and RWE writer to aid with their upcoming HEOR projects. They specialise in drug development, across gastroenterology, cardiovascular, neurology, oncology and more. They are employee centered, have been certified as a Great Place to Work, and recently have been awarded for their Customer Care.

The role is full time, permanent and remote from Europe.

This role is highly demanding and specific extensive HEOR experience is required, as per below:

Key Responsibilities:

  * Draft and review RWE (Real World Evidence) & HEOR manuscripts, systematic literature review/meta-analysis reports, value dossiers and other HEOR deliverables

  * To prepare and review outcome research data extraction grids. Data extraction for outcome research and consultancy for pharmacoeconomic modelling.

  * Creating standard operating procedures (SOPs), templates, trackers and checklists for HEOR services

  * Project Management & Review for HEOR projects, mentor and groom the new writers/analysts, impart trainings and managing reportees

  * Clear understanding and implementation of knowledge of various databases (claims databases, registries etc), systematic assessments, RWE publication policies

  * Awareness about guidance of RWE studies (GRACE, AHRQ, ISPE etc.) and guidelines like PRISMA, STROBE and it’s specialized versions like STROBE-ME, STROME-ID, etc.

  * Prepare and review HEOR/ RWE manuscripts/ research papers, review articles, abstracts, posters, slide sets/ oral presentations and other HEOR deliverables like literature review/ analysis,

  * HEOR analysis/ meta-analysis etc

  * Be completely accountable and responsible for building and ramping up HEOR subgroup, which includes but not limited to, hiring, competency development/ coaching & mentoring along with

  * Assigned technical activities like writing, review, robust tracking, project & people management etc.

  * Support in developing the business for the HEOR subgroup by planning for events on the subject matter and assist in presales and sales back end support.
