Job Description

Class 1 Driver | LGV 1 Driver | HGV 1 Driver | CE Driver

Location: Banbury
Shifts: Monday to Friday
Start Times: Day shifts starting between 04:00 and 07:00
Contract Type: Ongoing

Pay Rates

£16.71 per hour for the first 45 hours worked each week

£20.50 per hour after 45 hours

As a valued member of the transport team, you will play a key role in delivering goods safely, efficiently, and on time while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

Your Responsibilities

Deliver goods safely and efficiently to customers.

Complete daily vehicle safety checks before each shift.

Ensure full compliance with company policies and all transport legislation.

Manage your working hours in accordance with tachograph and drivers' hours regulations.

Represent the business professionally, maintaining high standards of appearance and conduct at all times.

What We're Looking For

To be considered for this role, you must have:

A valid UK Class 1 (CE) driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years.

At least 180 days' Class 1 driving experience in the UK within the last 2 years.

A valid Driver CPC qualification (DQC).

A sound understanding of drivers' hours, working time, and tachograph regulations.

No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences (no DR or IN endorsements due to insurance requirements).

Experience operating refrigerated vehicles is advantageous but not essential.
