Job Title: Class 1 Day Driver / LGV 1 Day Driver / HGV 1 Day Driver / CE Day Driver
Shifts: Monday to Friday

Salary: £17.50p.h for first 44hrs, £26.25p.h O/T after 44hrs

We have excellent opportunities for Day Driver's to join our team, working for our client out of their Banbury depot. You will be required to carry out deliveries to major NDC sites throughout the UK. No handballing involved. IMMEDIATE STARTS available for drivers who are able to demonstrate a high level of driving competence, with a flexible approach and good understanding of driver hours and regulations.
You must live within a 30 minute commute of Banbury to be considered for this role.
You will report to the Transport team, as part of your duties you will be required to:
Adhere to company procedures and regulations
Manage your own working time, while adhering to tachograph rules and regulations
Carry out daily vehicle checks
Carry out customer deliveries in a safe and timely manner
Maintain a high standard of behaviour and appearance
To be a successful HGV 1 Driver, LGV 1, Cat CE, Class 1 Driver, you will have the following skills and experiences:
Must hold a UK HGV 1 UK driving licence
Must have at least 180 days experience driving a Class 1 vehicle in the UK in the last 2 years
Have a maximum of 6 points for minor offences, no DR or IN endorsements, for insurance purposes
Hold a valid CPC DQC
Have excellent knowledge of driver hours and regulations
Experience using refrigerated units would be an advantage
Salary:
£17.50p.h Basic (up to 44 hours), £26.25 O/T (after 44 hrs)
