Job Description

Driver Hire Perth are recruiting for a Class 1 Shunter Driver to join our Perth based client. This role offers a mix of dayshifts and backshifts, with the opportunity to move into full-time work for the right candidate. You'll be working with a well-established national logistics company, responsible for moving trailers around the yard and assisting with site shunting operations.

This is primarily a yard-based role, with most movements being short distance, making it ideal for drivers who prefer minimal road driving.

Full Terberg training will be provided.

The Class 1 HGV Driver will need:

  * Category C+E entitlement on your UK driving licence

  * Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph

  * No more than 6 points on your licence

  * No major endorsements (including DD, DR, or CD)

  * Previous shunting experience preferred but not essential

Shift Times:

  * Dayshift: 06:00 start

  * Backshift: 13:30 start

Pay Rates (PAYE – inclusive of holiday pay):

  * Dayshift: £15.69 per hour

  * Backshift: £16.25 per hour
