Job Description
We are recruiting a HGV 1 Shunt Driver for our customer based in the Corby Area.
As a HGV 1 Shunter Driver your responsibilities will include but are not limited to;
Completing both Double Deck & Single deck movements
Shuttling materials between sites (Sites are all in the same industrial estate)
Working on a 3 week shift pattern with flexibility to cover sickness & Holiday
Ensuring the vehicle and load is always safe
Complying with all Drivers hours and WTD
3 Week working pattern;
Week 1 – Monday to Friday 06:00 -15:00
Week 2 – Monday to Friday 13:00 – 22:00
Week 3 – Sunday to Thursday 22:00 – 07:00
The ideal candidate will have the following.
Minimum of 1 year’s HGV 1 Experience
No more than 6 points on the licence
Previous Tug Experience beneficial
What we are offering;
£39,286 per annum
Overtime available
Shift length is 9 hours a day
25 days holiday + Bank holidays
