We are seeking a professional and reliable HGV 2 Drivers to join our logistics team. Responsibilities

  * Operate curtain-sided or fridge lorries and other commercial vehicles in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies.

  * Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to legal driving hours.

  * Secure cargo appropriately, ensuring safe transportation of goods.

  * Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.

  * Complete all necessary documentation accurately, including delivery notes and logs.

  * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery times and any unforeseen delays.

  * Maintain a professional attitude when interacting with clients and colleagues during deliveries.

Experience

  * Proven experience as a delivery driver or commercial driver

  * Demonstrable knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards within the UK.

  * Experience in handling flatbed loads, securing cargo, and managing logistics efficiently.

  * Familiarity with route planning tools and GPS navigation systems.

  * A valid UK driving licence suitable for commercial vehicles, with no serious endorsements or points on record.
