Key Responsibilities:
Daily Vehicle Inspections:
* Conduct comprehensive daily inspections of your HGV Class 2 vehicle to ensure it is in top condition and roadworthy.
* Promptly report any defects or issues to your supervisor to facilitate timely repairs and maintenance.
Route Planning:
* Plan routes efficiently to ensure 4-8 drops per day, maximizing productivity while adhering to schedules.
* Use GPS technology and other navigation tools to navigate traffic and ensure timely deliveries.
Curtain Siders and Tail Lift Operations:
* Operate curtain sider and tail lift lorries with precision and care, ensuring minimal manual handling.
* Ensure goods are securely loaded and unloaded, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Delivery Handling:
* Perform deliveries ensuring that all goods are in perfect condition upon arrival.
* Handle a variety of goods with care, ensuring they are securely fastened and protected during transportation.
Documentation:
* Complete all necessary paperwork accurately, ensuring all documentation is collected, signed, and filed correctly upon delivery or collection.
* Maintain meticulous records of delivery notes, invoices, and any customer feedback for future reference.
Customer Service:
* Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with customers and store personnel.
* Address and resolve any queries or issues professionally and promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
Health and Safety Compliance:
* Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations, ensuring the safe handling and transportation of goods.
* Report any incidents, accidents, or near-misses immediately to promote a safe working environment for all team members.

Requirements:
* Valid UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points.
* Minimum of 2 years HGV Class 2 driving experience.
* Valid UK CPC and UK Digi Tacho cards.
* Comfortable with both short and long journeys starting from Steventon.
* Excellent knowledge of EU driving laws and regulations.
* Strong commitment to health and safety standards.
* Ability to work independently and make decisions on the road.
* High level of written and spoken English proficiency.
Pay per hour : £15.00-£15.50 per hour
Shift Pattern: Ad- hoc and/or block bookings between Monday to Friday NO Weekends
