Job Description
We’re urgently looking for an experienced HGV 2 Driver who holds a current HIAB licence and ideally a current DBS for our Customer based in Northampton (NN4 7JE) on a temp to perm role delivering flat pack kitchen and bathroom products to customers homes, there will also be a requirement to deliver bulk items using a Hiab vehicle as needed.
Job Details:
* Pay Rate: £17.00 per hour
* Hours: Monday to Friday with some Saturdays required on a start time between 04:00 - 06.00 (flexibility required)
* Minimum Pay: 8 hours per day
* Overtime: Every other Saturday (rota basis, volume dependent)
Requirements:
* Valid ALLMI Licence (C5+E) - Brick Grab & Remote
* DBS check required before starting (self-funded)
* Required PPE: Hi-Vis Vest (EN ISO 20471:2013 Class 2), Safety Boots (EN ISO 20345:2011), and Hard Hat
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Making multi-drop deliveries to customer homes
* Operating HIAB with Brick Grab
* Following all company policies and safety procedures
* Working mainly Monday to Friday, including bank holidays and some Saturdays
Training & Induction:
* 2-day paid induction
* Buddy training provided
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.
