HGV 7.5T (C1) Driver – Monday to Friday PM Work

 Gloucester | £16.53 – £26.21 per hour | Regular Weekday Shifts

 Pertemps is recruiting professional 7.5T (C1) Drivers to support operations for Royal Mail at the Gloucester Mail Centre.

📦 The Role – Straightforward & Structured

Delivering and collecting mail and parcels between Royal Mail centres
Primarily driving – minimal manual handling
Clean, well-maintained vehicles
Organised depots and professional operations
Monday to Friday shifts (occasional weekend work available if you want it)
 This is simple trunk-style work that lets you focus on driving, not chasing multiple drops.

⏰ Shift Details

PM start times between 12:00 – 15:00
Average shift length: 7.25 hours
Shifts scheduled one week in advance
Immediate starts available
Ongoing, year-round work
 Perfect if you like a consistent routine and knowing your schedule ahead of time.

✅ What You’ll Need

Valid 7.5T (C1) licence (held minimum 2 years)
At least 180 days’ proven commercial driving experience
Valid CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
No more than 6 minor points (no DD, DR, IN, CD or TT endorsements)
Good geographical knowledge & professional attitude
Strong understanding of Drivers’ Hours & WTD regulations
Confident completing manual tachograph entries
Ability to pass DBS security clearance
Completion of site assessment & induction
