Job Description
We are looking for experienced and dependable HGV drivers to join our client's Waste & Recycling team. As a Bin Lorry Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection of waste and recycling materials across designated routes. You will lead a crew of loaders and ensure that collections are carried out in line with company standards and health & safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive HGV refuse collection vehicles safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
* Supervise and work closely with your team of loaders/collectors.
* Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure defects are reported.
* Ensure all waste and recycling collections are completed on time and in full.
* Maintain compliance with road traffic laws, health & safety, and company procedures.
* Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and the public.
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence with Category C (Class 2) entitlement.
* Valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
* Previous experience driving refuse collection vehicles is desirable, but training can be provided.
* Good communication skills and a positive team attitude.
* A strong focus on safety and compliance.
Start
* As soon as possible. Monday to Friday 7AM to 17PM
