HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Driver – General Haulage (IP23)

Location: Eye, Suffolk (IP23) Salary: £14.00–£24.00 per hour (Days) / up to £26.20 per hour (Nights) Job Type: Full‑time, Temporary Hours: Day and night shifts available

Job Description

We are recruiting HGV Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers for general haulage work in the IP23 area. This role involves the collection and delivery of palletised goods to local and regional customers.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver palletised general haulage loads

Complete vehicle checks before and after each shift

Follow planned routes and delivery schedules

Maintain accurate paperwork and PODs

Communicate professionally with customers and transport teams

Requirements

Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (Category C) licence

Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card

Good understanding of driver hours and WTD

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
