HGV Class 1 Container Drivers – Peterborough
Job Type: Ongoing – Temp to Perm Opportunity
Location: Peterborough, Cambridgeshire
Start Times: Between 06:00 – 07:00
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (Weekend work available if desired)
Pay Rates:
* PAYE: £16.50/hour
* Ltd Company: £18/hour
Job Overview:
We’re recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Container Drivers for a busy client in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for drivers seeking ongoing work with the potential to go permanent. You’ll be transporting containers to and from ports, with consistent start times and competitive rates.
Key Responsibilities:
* Drive Class 1 vehicles for container transport
* Ensure timely and safe deliveries across the UK
* Complete delivery paperwork accurately
* Maintain vehicle standards and report defects
Requirements:
* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
* CPC and Digi Tacho card
* Container experience preferred
