Job Description
We are on the hunt for an experienced Class 1 Tramper Driver to start immediately for one of our well-known clients based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.
This is a Temp to Perm position.
SHIFTS
Tramping Monday to Friday
Start times will be around 04:00 am daily
PAYE payment only
PAYE Rate: £14.00 per hour
Night Out: £25.00 per night
50 hours a week guaranteed (average 56)
- General haulage work using curtain sider trailers
- Occasional shunt work to Felixstowe
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
Minimum of 2 years HGV 1 driving experience (general haulage preferred)
Full UK Driving Licence with C+E category, CPC Qualification Card, Tachograph Card
Ability to safely operate HGV 1 vehicles across UK routes
Intermediate level of English (spoken and written)
Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
Provide excellent customer service on all assignments
Flexibility with start times and night outs
