Job Description
Are you a motivated HGV Class 1 Driver looking for a fresh opportunity with a reputable logistics company? Our well-established client in Pineham, Northampton is seeking reliable, hardworking drivers to join their team, offering excellent pay and guaranteed minimum hours.
Have you worked for DPD, DHL, or XPO Logistics? Then this could be the perfect role for you!
Why join this team?
* Competitive pay £18-£24 per hour
** PLUS £500 BONUS WHEN YOU START ON A PERMANENT CONTRACT **
* Guaranteed minimum of 9 hours’ pay per shift
* Start time between 16:30-22:00PM
* Immediate starts available after successful assessment
* Full training provided for delivering cages to locked stores
· Regular start times, booked in advance
Your key responsibilities:
* Deliver to 4-6 stores per shift maximum
* Drive safely and responsibly, representing the client’s high standards
* Ensure all paperwork and documentation is accurately completed
* Adhere strictly to the driver working time directive
What we’re looking for:
* Full HGV Class 1 licence held for at least 2 years
* Good understanding of working time regulations
* Experience with box trailers, curtain siders and deliveries
* Strong communication skills and a positive work ethic
