Class 1 (LGV CE / HGV) Drivers - Normanton (WF6)

Full Time | Ongoing Work | Excellent Rates

The Best Connection are currently recruiting reliable and professional Class 1 (LGV CE / HGV) Drivers for a well-established client based in Normanton (WF6).

🧭 The Role

As a Primary Driver, you will:

Deliver fresh bakery products from regional sites to distribution depots
Ensure goods arrive safely, on time, and in excellent condition
Represent a highly respected national brand with professionalism
Help maintain an efficient and reliable UK supply chainThis is a key logistics role where your work directly supports stocked shelves and satisfied customers nationwide.

✅ Requirements

Valid Class 1 (CE) licence
In-date CPC and Digital Tachograph card
Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
Confident in reversing and manoeuvring
Ability to pass a driving assessment

🕒 Shifts

Start times available between 14:00 - 20:00
Regular work including most Fridays
We aim to accommodate preferred start times within these hours

💰 Pay Rates (Plus Holiday Pay Accrual)

18:00 - 06:00: £18.00 per hour (£22.01 after 8 hours)
06:00 - 18:00: £16.00 per hour (£18.50 after 8 hours)
Weekends: £20.00 per hour (all hours)
Bank Holidays: £36.99 - £44.02 per hour
