Job Description
Are you a hard-working, reliable and confident HGV Class 1 Lorry Driver?
On behalf of a leading processer and recycling client based in the Newbury area, M4 Recruitment are actively seeking for a HGV Class 1 RORO Driver to join a our team.
Main Duties:
* Collect, deliver and exchange RO-RO bins
* Follow routes given to you by the Transport Manager
* Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects to the Transport Manager immediately
* To complete all paperwork accurately in a timely manner
* Parking of all vehicles at the end of everyday
* Making sure the cab of your lorry is always clean and tidy
* Keep in regular contact with the transport manager, yard managers and weighbridge operators at each site.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 2 years experience with HGV Class 1 Driving.
* RO-RO (Wagon & Drag) experienced preferred, but training can be provided.
* You must have good problem-solving skills
* Effective communication, both orally and in writing, is essential
* You will also have an excellent phone manner
* You must look presentable as the role is customer facing
* Fluent English is required
Shifts:
* Working Monday- Friday
* 06:00- 16:00
* Overtime and weekend work available
* Permanent
