Job Description
Real Recruitment are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for our client, a well-respected haulage company based in Felixstowe, running a straightforward trunking operation with excellent equipment and a supportive team environment. This is ongoing, full-time Monday to Friday day work with weekly pay!
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reliable logistics provider offering regular trunking shifts, set routes, and steady weekly bookings. No false promises – just consistent work for professional drivers who take pride in doing the job right.
What’s Available To You:
· PAYE – Weekly Pay
· Ongoing, consistent trunking work HGV Class 1
· Monday to Friday day shifts only
· Regular hours – shifts up to 12 hours per day
· £16.81 per hour – paid every Friday
Working Hours:
· Monday to Friday – Day shifts
· Trunking work only – trailer drop & swaps HGV class 1
About The Job Role Of HGV Class 1 Driver:
You will be….
· Completing trunking runs to distribution centres
· Undertaking trailer drop and swaps only (no handball)
· Following daily route plans with weekly booking schedules
· Performing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects in line with regulations
What We’re Looking For:
· Minimum 12 months HGV Class 1 driving experience
· Valid HGV 1 / C+E Licence, DCPC & Digital Tacho Card
· No more than 6 points on licence – No DD/DR convictions
· Good knowledge of driver’s hours and WTD regulations
