HGV Class 1 Driver
We are currently recruiting professional and experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for a leading haulage company in the Willenhall area. This role offers Monday to Friday work with no weekends and an average of 1–4 drops per day.
Key Duties:
* Consistent start times between 07:00 and 12:00 Days
* Driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle (curtain-sided)
* Delivering palletised goods to regional distribution centres and commercial customers
* Ensuring goods are securely loaded and unloaded – tail lift and pump truck may be required
* Completing all necessary paperwork and delivery notes accurately
* Daily vehicle checks in line with company policy and legal standards
* Maintaining a professional and courteous manner with customers and colleagues
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years experience on a HGV Class 1 Licence (C+E)
* Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
* Experience with curtain-sided trailers (preferred)
* Good working knowledge of driver hours, WTD, and transport regulations
* Reliable, punctual, and physically fit
* Strong communication and time management skills
* No more than 6 points on licence
