Job Description
The HGV Class 1 drivers work on shifts, safely transporting palletised parcels to Couriers or collecting from Delivery Units (that's where couriers pick them up). You will typically have a run with 4 - 5 drops ensuring the safe, efficient driving of vehicles and keeping the paperwork updated.
Hours: 40 hours a week. Full time is any 5 shifts out of 7, rotas are given in advance.
Essential Skills & Experience Required:
* You’ll need a full UK driving licence with HGV Class 1 entitlements, driver's CPC and digital tachograph. Newly-qualified drivers are welcome, however all drivers will need to undertake a short driving assessment.
* Excellent communication skills
* A safety-first mindset
* Reasonable physical fitness
