Job Description
HGV Class 1 driver - Tramper.
Location: Running out of Reading, RG30.
Days: Monday to Friday, Sunday to Thursday or any days to suit on a regular basis can be worked around - it's all day work.
Salary: £43K basic, £120 pm vehicle cleanliness bonus £35 pn Night out allowance.
Free, secure, on site Car parking, facilities on site for cooking, rest, showering, and storage.
Role:
You will have your own unit/vehicle allotted hence above cleanliness bonus, there is a lot of time away from home. Have ordered several new Mercedes which are coming in November with cooking and eating equipment, microwaves, Heaters, fridges and all the bells and whistles with bed, extra cupboards and all vehicles are fit for purpose of tramping.
Ideal candidates should have experience in transporting temperature-controlled products and a solid understanding of the UK road network. Must be capable of planning and working independently, effectively managing their administrative duties and proof of delivery documentation.
X2 roles, both positions involve day work and the possibility of 4-5 nights away, with the workload adaptable to individual preferences. These roles are full-time and offer a competitive monthly salary, along with a range of benefits, including:
