Job Description
NAS Recruitment are currently recruiting Class 2 Drivers for our client in Dunfermline. This is an ongoing position, initially for a minimum 4 months, with the potential of leading to permanent employment for suitable candidates.
This position involves working on rota either Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Friday each week, starting around 05:00-06:00 each day. the role involves delivering soft drinks, snacks and confectionary using pallets and roll-cages to a variety of customers throughout Scotland.
Suitable candidates should have:
* A full UK driving licence with Cat C entitlement, digital tachograph and drivers CPC
* A minimum of 6 months experience, and a maximum of 6 penalty points with no major endorsements (for insurance purposes).
* Good communication skills for dealing with management and customers
Suitable candidates should also have good attention to detail in order to provide a high level of service. A degree on manual handling will be involved due to the goods being delivered.
Rate of pay start from £16.00 per hour (first 40 hours), with overtime after 40 hours paid at £18.00 per hour. All holiday pay is accrued separately in addition to the hourly rate.
