HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C)
Location: Yate, Bristol (BS37 5NH)
Pay Rate: £22.00 per hour
Overtime: £34.00 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday, starting at 07:00 AM
Hours: 07:00 - 15:30
Contract Type: Ongoing - Temp to Perm Opportunity
We are currently recruiting experienced and professional HGV Class 2 Drivers for a busy and well-organised site based in Yate, Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure consistent weekday work with competitive pay and a clear route to permanent employment for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive Class 2 (Category C) vehicles on local and regional routes
Perform scheduled collections and deliveries
Conduct daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate driving logs
Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently
Communicate effectively with the transport team regarding any delays or issuesRequirements:
Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
A minimum of 6 month's recent Class 2 driving experience
Solid understanding of driver compliance and road safety
Reliable, professional, and punctual
What's on Offer:
£22.00 per hour basic pay
Overtime paid at £34.00 per hour
Monday to Friday only - no weekend work
Day shifts from 07:00 AM to 15:30 PM
Ongoing role with the potential to become permanent
