Job Description
HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Stansted Airport site (airside & non-airside)
Contract: Ongoing
Pay Rate: £18.21ph
Start: As soon as possible
Shifts: Multiple start times, flexible Monday to Sunday
Key Responsibilities:
* Collecting and loading catering equipment, bar sets and other goods onto 17-tonne rigid vehicles.
* Driving the vehicle airside and non-airside, ensuring timely and safe deliveries to aircraft or other on-site locations.
* Liaising with cabin crew or airline staff to facilitate transfer of goods to/from vehicles and the aircraft.
* Occasionally delivering stock to other units across the UK.
* Working as part of a team in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
Requirements:
* Full UK Driving Licence – Class 2 (Category C) with no more than six penalty points.
* CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification.
* Able to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
* Good numeracy and English skills.
* Flexible approach to start times, shifts, and ability to work weekends if required.
* Must be able to provide 5 years of employment history.
