HGV Driver (Class 2), Hemel Hempstead
 Full Time Permanent 

Salary: £35,000 per annum

Hours: 42.5 hours

The Role

We are seeking an HGV Driver to join our Hemel Hempstead branch, delivering building materials locally through multi-drop routes. You will ensure deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally while providing excellent customer service.

Hours

42.5 hours, Monday to Friday
Start times between 6:30am – 7:30am
No overnight stays or late evenings
Saturday rota (approx. 2 per month), paid at 1.5x overtime rate
Key Responsibilities

Operate HGV vehicles safely and in line with regulations
Load/unload materials securely
Complete deliveries as scheduled
Maintain accurate driving records and tachograph use
Conduct daily vehicle checks
Deliver excellent customer service
Follow all health & safety procedures
Requirements

HGV Category C licence (essential)
HIAB/ALLMI and experience (preferred)
Positive, professional, and safety-focused attitude
Experience within a regulated or diagnostic environment (advantageous)
