Job Description

HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER | Royal Portbury Docks, Bristol
Tuesday-Saturday fixed shift – 05:00- Finish
Pay: £17.54-23.25
Class 2 Driver – Residential Deliveries (Bathrooms & Kitchens)
Join our team as a Delivery Driver, responsible for multi-drop residential deliveries of bathroom and kitchen products. You’ll be supported by a porter and will use pallet trucks and tail lifts for manual handling. A typical shift involves 12–14 deliveries, with a strong emphasis on safe handling, excellent customer service, and punctuality.
Benefits:
  * Fixed rota: Tuesday to Saturday – consistent weekly schedule
  * Early starts – finish earlier in the day
  * Work as part of a two-person crew (Driver + Porter)
  * Well-maintained vehicles with tail lift and pallet truck provided
  * Opportunities to deliver excellent service in a customer-facing role
  * Competitive hours (approx. 10–12 hours per day worst case)
The Role:
  * Start time: 05:00 until finish
  * Complete 12–14 residential deliveries per shift
  * Deliver bathroom and kitchen goods to homes across the South West and Wales
  * Manual handling involved – porter provided for support
  * Use of tail lift and pallet truck for unloading
  * Maintain high standards of customer service and professionalism
  * Adhere to delivery schedules and road safety standards
The Requirements:
  * Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
  * Up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  * Comfortable with manual handling duties
  * Good communication skills and a customer-first approach
  * Ability to work to deliver targets and adapt to different routes
  * Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
