Location: Thurrock

Basic Salary: £20.00 per hour

Employment Type: Temporary Ongoing, with Temp-to-Perm opportunities

Job Description:

We are recruiting for experienced and professional HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C) Drivers to work with a growing logistics company in Thurrock. The work is varied and involves multi-drop deliveries, pallet work, and occasional collections across the Southeast, London, and East of England.

This role is ideal for drivers who are confident working with tail lifts, navigating busy urban and residential areas, and maintaining excellent customer service across each delivery point.

Shift Pattern (Subsection):

· Monday to Friday (No weekend work)

· Start times typically between 06:00 – 07:00

· Some collections required at end of runs

· Route sheets and load plans provided daily

Key Responsibilities:

· Multi-drop deliveries using curtain-side Class 2 vehicles

· Use of tail lift and pallet pump truck

· Routes cover areas including London, Kent, Essex, Norwich, Northampton, Southampton

· Some loads may include bricks, tiles, and heavier goods – suitable drivers may be given an ePPT

· Reporting any delays, vehicle issues or collection requests to the office

· Follow all transport legislation, safety procedures, and route plans

Requirements:

· Valid UK HGV Class 2 Driver (Category C) licence

· Minimum 2 years’ experience in HGV Class 2 work (insurance requirement)

· Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card

· Max 3 penalty points (no major endorsements)

· Able to manage manual handling, route navigation, and accurate delivery documentation

· Must be a team player with good communication

Pay Rates :

LTD Monday to Friday Day= £20.00

PAYE Monday to Friday Day= £16.00

UMBRELLA Monday to Friday Day= £20.00
