Job Description

HGV Class 2 Driver wanted in Newent, Gloucestershire, £35,100 per annum + Overtime working Monday to Friday on a guaranteed 45-hour contract. Early starts from 03:00 onwards with overtime available and paid at x1.33 after 45 hours per week.Looking for your next driving role? ⭐ Your Duties:

Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles (up to 18 tonnes) as part of a busy delivery fleet

Flexibility to drive 7.5 tonne lorries and 3.5 tonne vans on a rotational basis

Multi-drop deliveries to customers across England (typically 5-10 drops per day)

Loading and unloading products safely and efficiently

Providing excellent customer service at all delivery locations

Completing all delivery paperwork accurately

Ensuring vehicles are kept clean, compliant, and roadworthy

Occasional overnight stays away from home when required

🚚 Requirements:

Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Licence

Current Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card

Experience driving vehicles up to 18 tonnes preferred

Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties

Good knowledge of England's motorway network

Comfortable with early morning starts from 03:00 onwards

Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach

Own transport required due to location at Newent Business Park
