Job Description
Our client based in Thatcham is looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a straightforward, professional driving role within a general haulage environment.
Shift:
* Monday to Friday
* 05:00am/06:00am Start Times
Pay:
* £16.00 - £17.00 per hour
Responsbile:
* Carry out scheduled deliveries and collections in a timely and safe manner
* Ensure all loads are safely secured and comply with relevant transport regulations
* Complete daily vehicle checks and report any faults or issues promptly
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and records
* Adhere to all health & safety procedures, company policies, and road regulations
* Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients or site staff
* Handle and transport goods in line with ADR guidelines where applicable
The right candidate will:
* Have no more than 6 points on license
* Have min. 1 year experience driving Class 2 vehicles
* Have valid CPC and Tachograph
