Job Description
Role: HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Park Royal
Hourly Rate: £17.00
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 7am start
Our client is the supplier of steel to businesses and construction sites throughout the UK.
HGV Class 2 Driver Responsibilities:
– Daily walk-around checks reporting any defects or issues to the manager immediately
– Load vehicle ensuring safe and secure using straps or chains
– Delivery of steel to sites or businesses across the UK, can be local or long distance driving
- Assist with loading and unloading where required
– Be professional and courteous when dealing with customers or the public
– Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding any issues or delays while on route
– Adhere to driving hours regulations
HGV Class 2 Driver Requirements:
– Full UK licence with category C
– No more than 6 points
– UK CPC and Digital Tachograph Card (in date)
