HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Exeter, EX5 1EW
Salary: £35,242.82 per annum
Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 45 hours per week, Monday - Friday 5am - 6am start, 4pm - 5pm finish
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Class 2 Driver to join our team. This position goes beyond driving, it involves visiting client sites, collecting confidential paper documents, and ensuring their safe transport and secure destruction.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Check the vehicle at the start of the shift, completing the defect sheet and reporting any defects
Drive vehicles you are licensed to drive and comply with all Driver Regulations
Use tachographs correctly and consistently
Ensure all necessary equipment required for your duties is loaded before leaving the depot
Review and understand all job sheets before leaving the depot
Accurately record collection activities and customer data using the PDA
Complete all jobs on time and correctly, either solo or with a driver’s assistant
Ensure all paperwork is completed for each job, with items collected recorded and signed for by the client, with a copy handed in at the end of the shift
Maintain the security and integrity of materials at all timesAbout you:
Full UK Class 2 driving licence
Possess good written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service
Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times
Happy handling tasks involving lifting and transporting materialsSome of our benefits include:
