Job Description
Orbital Recruitment are looking for an immediate start, reliable and experienced HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER to join our Clients friendly and professional team for a TEMP to PERM position based in Coleshill, Warwickshire area. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled driver looking for a long-term position with great benefits and stability. NO nights out or weekends.
Duties:
* Carry out safe and efficient Class 2 deliveries and collections around the Midlands
* Handle a variety of groupage loads and ensure goods are secure and delivered in good condition
* Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain accurate records
* Represent the company professionally at all times
* Assist with loading/unloading as required (Manual Handling training provided)
Experience Needed/About You:
* Minimum 1–2 years’ Class 2 driving experience (Cat C licence)
* Valid CPC card and digital tachograph card
* Safe, professional driving style
* Physically fit and able to handle manual work
* ADR licence desirable (training can be provided)
* Non-smoker preferred
* Immediate Start.
Pay/ Salary:
* £14.04 per hour (paid breaks) – minimum 45 hours per week
* Opportunity for overtime to boost earnings
* Profit-related pay, company pension, and health scheme after qualifying period
Hours & Contract Type:
* Temp to Perm with driver negligence cover included
* Mon-Fri days
* Approximate start times between 06:00 – 08:00
* No nights out or weekends
* New LF 18T and 12T vehicles provided
* 6-month probation period
