HGV Class 2 Skip Drivers – Afternoons/Evenings
Location: Leeds (LS9)
Pay: £16.25/hr, with the option to be paid holiday pay upfront, increasing the rate to £18.20/hr
Shifts: Monday to Friday, 15:30 – 22:30 (approx. 35 hours per week)
Type: Ongoing work, with temp-to-perm opportunities available
Weekend work: May become available depending on workload
We’re recruiting reliable HGV Class 2 Skip Drivers for ongoing work in Leeds with a national waste management and recycling company. This is a great opportunity for drivers looking to work afternoon and evening shifts.
About the role:
* Driving HGV Class 2 Skip and RoRo vehicles
* Safely collecting and transporting waste across the region
* Planning routes to ensure timely service
* Completing relevant paperwork for collections, deliveries, and incidents
* Providing excellent customer service and communication
* Promoting safe and responsible waste handling
* Skip/RoRo experience preferred but not essential – full training will be provided
Requirements:
* Valid HGV Class 2 (C) licence
* CPC and Digi Tacho card
* Strong route navigation and vehicle handling skills
* Reliable, positive attitude, with good communication skills
* Commitment to safety and customer service
