HGV Class 2 (C) DAY Driver
Derby DE65 5DJ
Temporary / On-going [until further notice]
Immediate start
Monday to Friday
Hours per shift - can be up to 15
Rate £14.00 per hour
This is a fantastic opportunity to join Gi Group and work with one of our Clients in Derby, driving DAYS - General Haulage / Palletised deliveries.
Driver Responsibilities:
Driving a Class 2 vehicle, following a planned route from the Clients site in Derby to customers across the UK. General haulage / palletised goods.
Driver requirements and skills:
* You must be happy to drive DAYS
* You MUST be in possession of a HGV Class 2 (C) license, Driver CPC & DIGI Cards
* Motoring convictions starting with the code SP for speeding offences are acceptable, up to a max. of 6 points.
* Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible, Upbeat, self-motivated and resilient - are welcomed in this role.
* 2 hour induction provided on first day
* Able to work on tight schedule whilst maintaining high safety standards throughout.
* You must have good geographical knowledge
Driver Key Information and Benefits:
* Weekly pay
* FREE onsite parking
* Rate £14.00 per hour
* Continued professional development and in house DCPC periodic training will be provided [after a qualifying period]
* A safe working environment
Driver Shift time:
* Monday to Friday - varying start times
* Ave. hours per shift - can be up to 15
