Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and skilled HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial driving and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. As a HGV Class 2 Driver you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the cargo.
Duties
* Multi drop HGV Class 2 Deliveries across the UK
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
* Maintain accurate delivery records
* Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise
* Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the lorry both inside and out
* Adhere to company policies regarding safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications
* HGV Class 2 licence
* Valid CPC and Tacho
* Minimum 2 years HGV Class 2 experience
* Maximum 6 penalty points ( No DD, DR, IN , TT)
* Excellent time management skills with a focus on punctuality
* Good communication skills for interacting with team members and clients
* A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism on the road
Pay/ Salary:
* Pay rate is £15.44 per hour Paye
Hours & Contract Type:
* Monday to Friday
* Days
* Potential nights out required
* Weekly pay.
* Free onsite parking.
* Temp to Perm opportunities available
