HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Barnsley, South Yorkshire
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday (6am start)
Salary: £15.30 basic - £17.14 advanced holiday pay
Start Date: Immediately
About the role:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV Class 2 Driver for an ongoing position located in Barnsley. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of our high-quality furniture products to a variety of customers, including independent retailers, housing developers, and merchants.
Key responsibilities:
* Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle
* Load, transport, and deliver goods to customers on schedule
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation
* Conduct vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues
* Provide excellent customer service at all times
What we are looking for:
* Valid Class 2 driving license
* Minimum 1 years’ experience driving a Class 2
* Valid CPC and Tacho Card
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
* Manual handling of goods
