MOVIES AND EVENTS INDUSTRY DRIVERS REQUIRED!
Driver Hire Uxbridge have an exciting opportunity for Experienced HGV CLASS 2 Drivers to join one of our clients based in Wembley, a global leader in equipment rental for movies and events.
We are looking for reliable, flexible and experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers to start IMMEDIATELY!
PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE ADHOC SHIFTS – SHIFTS ARE NOT GUARENTEED
Monday to Friday, Start and finish times can vary (may be as early as 5am)
Class 2 Duties:
* Complete easy runs from point A to B
* Safely transport event equipment and set up to large events, gigs and film sets
* You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism
* Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fuel levels, tyre pressure, and fluid levels
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Class 2 Drivers Pay:
* PAYE £17.51 to £20.50 p/h
* Paid minimum 8 hours a day
* Overtime is paid after 8 hours (breaks are not paid)
Class 2 Driver Requirements:
* Valid UK CAT C manual licence for at least 2 years with no more than 6 points (no DR DD TT IN or MS90 endorsements)
* Valid CPC and TACHO
* ADR qualification is desirable but not essential
* You must be over the age of 25 years – for insurance purposes
* At least 1 year HGV Class 2 driving experience (references required)
* Have more than 90 days appropriate driving experience (Cat C) in the past 12 months
* Physically fit, as some jobs require lifting and shifting
* Excellent verbal and written English skills to interact with customers and team members
* Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standard
