Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver – Alcohol Deliveries *NEW PASSES WELCOME*
Location: Runcorn
Pay Rate: £16.23 per hour
Working Days: Monday to Friday (Ongoing)
Start Time: 6:30 AM
Shift Length: 8–10 hours per day
Job Overview:
CareerMakers Recruitment is currently looking for reliable Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers for an ongoing contract in Runcorn. This role involves the delivery of alcohol products to commercial clients, offering stable weekday hours with potential for overtime and long-term work. No Experience Needed!
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out multi-drop deliveries of alcohol to pubs, bars, and retailers
* Ensure timely, safe, and accurate delivery of goods
* Handle loading and unloading of stock (manual handling required)
* Maintain delivery paperwork and follow company procedures
* Provide excellent customer service at delivery points
* Adhere to health & safety standards (PPE required: safety boots and hi-vis)
Requirements:
* A valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence
* Will Accept New Passes
* A good knowledge of UK road safety regulations
* Physically fit – able to handle heavy lifting
* Good communication and customer-facing skills
* Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude
What We Offer:
* Ongoing weekday work – Monday to Friday
* Regular start time at 6:30 AM
* Up to 10 hours per shift
