Job Description
Wilson Recruitment is urgently seeking HGV Class 2 Drivers for a fantastic opportunity with our client based in Northampton.
This role offers immediate starts, great pay rates, and a clear temp-to-perm pathway after just 12 weeks.
Before work can commence, you will be required to complete and pass a driving assessment (paid if successful).
The Role:
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday – 05:00 starts
Contract Type: Temp to Perm (12 weeks)
Duties: Palletised deliveries to hospitals OR medical equipment deliveries to homes
Drops: Maximum 8 per shift
Equipment: Electric pump trucks provided
Rotation: Fair mix of hospital and home deliveries

Pay Rates (PAYE):
£17.25 per hour – Monday to Friday (06:00–18:00)
£20.54 per hour – Monday to Friday (18:00–06:00)
Candidate Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 2 License (held for at least 1 year)
Maximum of 6 points on license (no major endorsements)
Enhanced DBS check
Physically fit and willing to carry out manual handling
Reliable, hardworking, and customer-focused
