Job Description
The Best Connection Reading is looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver – based in Reading!
Drive your career forward with a leading national builders’ merchant!
The role:
You’ll be delivering building materials to local sites, ensuring loads are secure and legal before hitting the road. A typical day includes around 14 drops, with a return to base as needed to reload.
You’ll operate a HIAB for loading/unloading (training provided if needed) and represent our client with professionalism and a focus on customer service.
What we’re looking for:
* Valid Class 2 (Category C) license
* Up-to-date CPC and digital tachograph
* Minimum 12 months of recent Class 2 driving experience
* Grab HIAB experience
* Strong safety awareness and a customer-first mindset
